The Fingerprints

Taking a look around the Manor of Make-Believathon reveals that nobody has lived in it in years. It was thought that the Maleficarum would be safe and hidden in a building rumoured to be haunted!

The doors open themselves. It sends a shiver down your spine. When you approach the nearest door, you notice there is something on the handle.

It looks like the villain might have opened it…

Roshani Chokshi is an author of books for middle grade and young adult audiences. Her first series, The Star-Touched Queen, was released in 2016 to critical acclaim, leading to a sequel in 2017. In 2018, Chokshi’s middle grade series began with Aru Shah and the End of Time, published under the Rick Riordan Presents imprint. It has since been optioned by Paramount Pictures, and the fourth book, Aru Shah and the City of Gold, will be published in 2021. In 2019, The Gilded Wolves series began, again with international critical acclaim, and the sequel, The Silvered Serpents, will be released in 2020.

Participants of Believathon 3 will receive double points for completing a book by Roshani Chokshi as part of their reading challenges.
