The Footprints

A sinister sound fills the air. It’s scratchy at first, but then it gradually transforms into a rather beautiful melody.

Following the music, it takes you towards the grandest of doors in the Manor. The music reaches its crescendo when you open the door, and then falls deathly silent.

You step inside the Ballroom to see a sole piano in the centre, and all around it are footprints imprinted in the wooden floor.

Play the video to hear the reading challenge.

In order to collect the footprints, you must read a book that features a prominent villain.

Once you have completed your reading challenge, be sure to fill in this form with the book you read! Alternatively, if you work in a school, then fill in this form instead.
